Supporting upskilling e reskilling processes in European SMEs
Interoperability refers to the functionality of information systems to exchange data and to enable sharing of information. Data interoperability is a cross-cutting issue, horizontal to almost all vertical markets, it plays a crucial role in the ICT sector and, in particular, in all the processes dealing with location.
The main aim of DIS4SME is to provide SMEs with the right skills required to orient their Digital Transformation strategies and plans around data interoperability, as enabler of all the key capacity areas addressed by the Digital Europe Programme.
SME owners, managers and employees are facing several knowledge gaps related to emerging Digital Transformation trends, not only related to technologies, rather, primarily, related to data policies. Concepts such as data spaces and high value datasets are two examples of drivers in different data economy scenarios, impactful for the entire society and for businesses and SMEs in particular.

Tangible project outcomes
DIS4SME will deliver different types of courses responding to the real needs of SMEs in terms of data interoperability, especially on location data interoperability, to cover state-of-the-art technological as well as policy trends.
The project will design and deliver short-term training courses for upskilling and reskilling of the labour force, with a particular focus on SMEs owners, managers and employees.
The courses will be designed jointly by the partners of the consortium and provided in blended mode. Even if the materials will be designed to be followed and exploited in the context of specific training actions, it will be possible to freely download a number of training materials developed in the project suitable for self-leaning.
We are experts in delivering specialised training courses
The DIS4SME partnership is a multidisciplinary group with recognised expertise in designing VET and and academic training offer led by GISIG as project coordinator.
