At the end of each lecture, participants will complete quizzes to reinforce their learning and help consolidate the learning course objectives. The achievement of the course’s learning outcomes will be assessed through a written examination and the evaluation of the practical exercises completed during the course.

  1. Significance of Location Data in Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) Models (50 min.)
  2. Supply Chain, Distribution and Geolocation (60 min.)
  3. Risk and Regulations (60 min.)
  4. Group Exercise (220 min.)

The course duration is 6,5 hours.

  • Understand the principles of Direct 2 Consumer models and role of location data interoperability, including its impact on business and decision-making processes.
  • Understand Direct 2 Consumer Supply Chain, Distribution and Geolocation with Opportunities and Challenges for innovative services.
  • Examine how to ensure compliance with relevant EU regulations and standards governing D2C models and practice.

PowerPoint presentations, video recordings, quizzes, material for the final exercise.

Participants must have completed the “Introduction to Data Interoperability” course for managers, which provides a foundational understanding of data interoperability concepts and principles.

At the end of each lecture, participants will complete quizzes to reinforce their learning and help consolidate the Learning Objectives associated with that lecture. Upon completing the course, a practical exercise with the tutor is planned. The achievement of the course’s learning outcomes will be assessed through a project work and a written examination, ensuring that participants have successfully transferred the necessary skills for technicians.

  • Use location data and interoperability tools to integrate data from diverse sources to harmonise data in case with location data.
  • Demonstrate the use of data interoperability for real-world scenarios of D2C cases such as Mobile Food Marketplace (LOKeT) (using Google Map API and own schema in MySQL for data products) to implement scenario of technical solutions for data harmonisation in practical tutorial.
